The default period for VRDB generation is 3 weeks.

how can i setup for example 2 weeks
in avast4.ini
what have i to write?

Mantra,

This is a simple thing to accomplish.  I have posted strings on this, but will give it to you again.
You need to modify the .ini file which is contained in the Avast directory...under DATA  Look in the file for a section [VRDB] and change the line RunInterval=[time in minutes]

If no section exists, add the following:
[VRDB]
RunInterval=10080    (This is equivalent to 7 days in minutes.  You can make it what you want)

Save the file and exit.
