I registered my copy of Avast 5 few days ago and still haven't got the license key email? Why it's taking so long?

Is it avast 5 free? then you don`t need a key if you are online when registering

I have just joined the forum in order to sort out my problem and I cannot even discover where I can start a new post! My problem - I thought I successfully entered the license key for avast! 4 professional edition to keep me covered for 2010. However I keep getting the popup message that my avast will run out soon. It has not given me confidence and the constant pop-ups are disencouraging me to apply for avast in the future. If I do not get help I am just going to give up and never bother with avast again. Your trojans are NOT enjoyed.

What avast version are you using 4.8 or 5.0 ?
If version 5 you may need to convert the old 4.8 pro license to a new license file.
- avast! 5 Pro license convert from 4.8 Pro license. Try http://www.avast.com/resend-license.php (http://www.avast.com/resend-license.php) now, fill in the form giving your email and 4.8 Pro License key and they will send the new license file to you (presumably it will check you have a legit 4.8 Pro license first).
