Im running xp 32bit and im putting windows(7) 64 bit on,so will i be able to get a 64bit version for free or will i have to pay again.

hello,   if you have a payed version of avast 4.8 (pro) you can get a free upgrade to avast 5 pro via avast website, however you`ll need to convert your existing payed license through avast 5, you can still get a free version of avast 5 aswell.........p.s dont matter which you program you download they all support 32/64bit os`s

This is the location - avast! 5 Pro license convert from 4.8 Pro license. Try http://www.avast.com/resend-license.php (http://www.avast.com/resend-license.php) now, fill in the form giving your email and 4.8 Pro License key and they will send the new license file to you (presumably it will check you have a legit 4.8 Pro license first).
