Title: Another Possible FP ?
Post by: Willy29 on January 30, 2010, 06:00:33 PM
The first few full scans have picked up nothing, so ran the fast scan this morning and got an alert on:

lnchtour.exe       Not sure if the first letter should be el or eye.

It is apparently a legitimate file in MS Works, but I thought I would run it past the forum. A5 put it into the chest.

Well, the barber  pole at Virustotal.com kept spinning for over 10 minutes without anything else happening, so closed the window on that.

Looking closer it seems like the file was last modified in September of 2004, and since it is in C:\ProgramFiles\MicrosoftWorks, and if nothing else caught it in all this time I have to assume it is safe. Funny why it only came up in the Quick Scan and not the Full Scan. If it comes up again on a scan I will just make an exclusion of it.
