just what the title says... sorry I think I already started a topic a few weeks ago about this exact same issue but I cannot find it. I generated a dump file for IE while it was crashing, if you want it just let me know...
-
update: IE/32 doesn't crash, ie freezes, like it first did but now opens and closes immediately, always in virtual mode. And strangely, IE/64 runs perfectly fine in virtual mode ;D
-
Hi Logos :)
I never use IE, but because of this topic I tried and can confirm the problem with IE 32 :-\
Greetz, Red.

works fine for me both 32 and 64 both run fine no crashes or shutdowns at all
-
I can confirm that issue too, here is the screenshot.
IE 32 Crash!
With Avast 5 pro 5.0.396, in virtualized mode.
-
Sorry guys, I wasn't aware of it, tried Win7 x64 + IE x86/x64 and no problem here.
Logos: could you please upload the dump? thanks a lot
Rednose: thx for telling me ;)

OK, it's passworded, I'll send the password via mail to vlk, and ask him to forward it to you.

Confirm both IE and IE (no add-ons) are non-starters when right click of "run virtualized" is used in Vista x32. Right click of "open" runs normally. No crash, just no program.
-
yeah ive only tested on win7 so far but on three machines i have no issues with either version of ie running in the sandbox
-
FWIW. I have no problem running IE 6 virtualized under XP (32).
-
Peter, any news here ??? Can I help ???
Greetz, Red.

OK guys :)
Just to inform you : Peter is working on it :) I have to test something for him, but there is a little problem ( It could be my stupidity :-\ ). So please be patient ;)
