I have been using Microsoft Security Essentials ever since it came out for it being effective and light on resources, I installed Avast 5 Home version the other day since I wanted something with more coverage such as Avast offers.
My experience with Avast 5 is great, it is loaded with features you would normally have to pay for, uses even less resources than MSIE, I like the new look of Avast, Detection wise it's equal to MSIE from what I've read.

Thank you for giving users a better choice for free Antivirus/Antimalware. It would be even better if it cleaned rogues but I'm sure you'll get around to that in time.
