Title: avast leaves a file upon installation

I had to reinstall avast and I reconized that it left a file in the folder of the setup files (see attached pic)  ::) ::)
What is this ?  ::)

This is not an Avast file as far as I know.

It appears to be a file used by "The Bat" an Email antivirus program by Ritlabs.

I do not believe that Avast "borrows" files from another antivirus program vendor to run the Avast email protection.

I will send a copy of the post to one of the Avast Team for confirmation.

It's the avast! Bat! plugin...
Maybe you installed its beta-version...? In this case, the uninstaller would of course leave it there as the setup is not responsible for it.
