Title: Uninstalling Avast 4.8 ASAP Please

Want to install Avast 5 Free Version
downloaded aswclear.exe to uninstall Avast Pro 4.8!
And i know i have to use it in safe mode!
But the question is!
do i have first to uninstall it using "Add or Remove Programs" then i use aswclear.exe?

Any tips?

You should use the normal add remove programs uninstall, it isn't designed to replace that just if you can't use add remove programs. The aswClear.exe will however make sure there are no remnants.

i was confused and seeking an advice :P

and now decided Avast Free version is the best for me till i make a credit card and buy Avast Suite xD
