Title: Norton 360 4.0 beta
Post by: Hermite15 on February 07, 2010, 02:33:20 PM
don't know since when this beta is available, anyway I just gave it a shot ...lasted about 15 minutes  ;D once installed, the system kept behaving normally, except browsing was a bit slowed down but that's not the biggest problem. Biggest problem is with this version again, like with any version of Norton that I tried during the past years, boot times are completely crazy  ::) guess I'll skip this new version too  ;D

Ya its happaned to me this cookies annoying... Its very amazing. I was like wow ok... Quarantine and now again when i startup its do appear again. Im like what ! I will remove you right now lol. ;D

Im really proud for got avast! as my anti virus. Very light and no annoying like Norton.

I also find much much less slow after uninstalling Norton in the past... :o

I think I had too many things activated when running the 360 (4.0 beta), but I didn't have the patience to check; might try it again another day. I just can't stand such boot times, and I've only seen that with Norton suites so far...

well i have norton antivirs 2010 until it expires(i won a one-year license in a promotion and i have 200days left) and i have to admit that its really good and i dont have any annoying popups...i have adjusted the settings to auto-remove the tracking cookies so everything works like a charm...and it is very light..!!!but....there is a big but!!..its NORTON...and even if this antivirus is good...the company sux really bad...so when it expires i'm switching back to avast
