Title: Small but annoying issue here

I'm using Avast! Free Antivirus (ver. 5.0.418) with Windows 7, and a couple of days ago it started opening up the standard window for no apparent reason. There are no messages, no information, just the window that opens if you click the icon in the system tray. At one point it was doing it every couple of minutes. Any ideas why this is happening or how to make it stop?

Does avast repair and reboot fix it?
For a repair of avast. Windows, Add Remove programs, select 'avast! Anti-Virus,' click the Change/Remove button from the pop-up window, scroll down to Repair, click next and follow.

Well it doesn't seem to be doing it all the time. I did the repair now. Will reply here again if it starts up again. Thanks for the tip though. :)
