Title: A really stupid question about the 'Virus Database Has Been Updated' graphic
Post by: Sir Les on February 24, 2010, 07:00:04 PM
Here's the stupid question: what's the little symbol to the left of the 'X' at the top of the graphic?  I haven't been game enough to click on it to find out!   :-[

Why would you want it to stay there?  You must have seen it to pin it, so why keep it there?   :)

Various reasons...

- you can't read it in time before it disappears
- so you can take a screenshot
- to show someone else

that's all I can think of for now... ;)

the format is the same for all popups, be it updates or detections, the pin is there to be used.

Maybe someone may love how the dialog looks like - hence the pin.
