Title: AVAST UPDATE PROBLEMS Solution (Maybe)

I backed up all my important files to CD-R then reformatted my hard drive and reinstalled my OS. Then downloded Avast ind installed it. It updated as soon as I connected to the internet. I suspect a registry problem, or a conflict with Steganos internet Anonm since I was having no problems before I installed this. I know it was a long way to go to solve this problem but my system neede to be cleaned out, so to speak, and the registry was bloated from installs and uninstalls of previous programs. I highly recommend it if you havent done this in a while and you have the time. Who knows what may be lurking in Microsofts all mysterious registry.(HAHAHAHA!!!!) Ahem..sorry i got carried away.
