No. Maybe you read that avast 5 IS firewall with ms firewall is ok?

But 2 av is dangerous to system.

avast 5 is better.

Ok, maybe someone from Alwil reply to you in this.

I recommend to you avast 5 and Windows Defender.

@ geey201

Having MSE is OK as long as you do not enable its resident protection but I would recommend MSE for people that do not know about the power of avast! Free.  ;)

@ hpguru

Windows Defender is OK and is standard on Vista and Windows 7 but it should be updated daily through its portal:
http://www.microsoft.com/security/portal/Definitions/ADL.aspx

Its current definitions are 1.77.268.0 and can be set to run a Quick scan daily

@ Shiw Liang

If you let kids play with your system then you get whatever infections they want to give you.

for me its better only one AV bcoz it caused slow to your pc if more than two, bcos of conflicts happened,.
So I recommed Avast to protect your pc,...

Then the second is MBAM but MBAM is not for protection its for removing only the virus...

That's what im doing right now....

Cheers from the Philippines.///....

Me what I recommend to an infected system is to be scanned by MBAM first and do the removal then scan with avast for malwares left :)
