Title: wheres my avast?

i have updated my bios succesfully except for some reason the  avast icon is not running on my taskbar. my os is win xp pII 350mhz.  the program is still on my pc but it is not doing automatic updates or running behind the scenes as usual.  i had to change my email server addresses too cause i wasnt able to send/receive mail . i just want my avast healthy again!

Try unistall -> reboot -> install -> reboot of avast.

thanks heaps for your help. i will remember that in future. my avast is happy and so am i !
