Title: Termianl Server; Outlook, concurrent connections limit in avast exceeded
Post by: Neilb on March 09, 2010, 10:27:55 AM
Hi,
I have installed Avast on our company servers and now every user, that connects to our Terminal server is getting the following error when trying to send/receive email:

concurrent connections limit in avast exceeded(pass:0, processes:OUTLOOK.EXE[20])
   Protocol:   IMAP
   Server:   imap.server.lan
   Port:   143

Can someone please tell me how to resolve this?

I'm not sure about the Terminal server but on a workstation this usually means that the avast plugin in Outlook is disabled and needs to be re-enabled (for Outlook 2007: menu Tools/Trust center/Add-ins/Manage Disabled items).
