Title: Error: Exception in standard viruses code. (42104)
Post by: REDACTED on March 26, 2010, 05:59:19 AM
I opened a ticket with that subject, but haven't heard anything.  I get 5 or 6 errors scanning the entire hard-drive on a Vista 64 system.  If I then scan the files/directories that got those errors, they scan clean.  Any idea what those errors are?  (Error: Exception in standard viruses code. (42104))?

Thanks

Can you please post the whole report with the filenames?
Are they the same each time you scan your disk?

I've since returned the laptop to the person I was helping....  The errors/files vary.  They seem to typically be in the 'programs(x86)' directory (which is probably one of the largest folders).  There are typically 5-10 errors on a complete system scan, and the folders are somewhat constant, and the reported files are also somewhat constant, but as I said, scanning just that file works fine.

I should have access to the laptop in a week.  I can post the complete report then.
