Title: Subscription "expired"

Even though I have the free Home Edition (and a valid registration number) I got a "subscription expired" message. How do i reinitialize and reinstall Avast!?

Maybe you have older key. You should try to reregister avast Home, as every key has its period of validation. f.eg. i'm using second key already.

Maybe, you just write a typo... Why don't you use copy & paste method?
Other possibility is check the date & time of your system (specially the year). Are they ok?

Last chance, try to repair your installation (Control Panel > Add/remove programs) or, at last, uninstall / boot / install / boot / use new key  ;)
