Title: Can't set standard shield to custom
Post by: sector on April 02, 2010, 03:11:25 AM
Hello,
I did some searching but couldn't find my specific problem.

I don't want Avast to scan a few folders. I went to standard shield/customize/advanced and included the folders I wanted blocked but they still scan and setting standard shield to custom from high doesn't stick.

How can I exclude folders?
Maybe I'm excluding folders with wrong addresses. Should it matter if you use front slashes or back slashes? Should the folder you want excluded have a slash after it?
