Title: Licenses--HDTW?

Heya... I was wondering: How do AIS licenses work? Do I have to do anything special before I reformat the computer, for example?

I ask this because 2 other programs I've used require either uninstalling or transferring the license first, so that a license slot is not used up unnecessarily (AppGuard & Super Anti-Spyware)....

Normally, I backup, wipe & reformat.  Sometimes I use images.... [~sigh~ This is a fine time for me to ask.... I've already reformatted or system restored at least 3 times to resolve some driver conflicts & slipstreaming issues I was having on the desktop....]

I'm just trying to make sure I won't have any problems when I go to use my license on the laptop....

You should have a Licence.avastlic file for the Pro and AIS versions - this you need to keep as it has all the data required - for free just re-register
