this is happening for the second time now: removing the firewall (whatever the reason is), and attemting to reinstall it fails completely. It just wouldn't start. It appears in the UI but the service isn't even listed in thr Windows interface. I attempted a repair, rebooted, no change. I deactivated the self-defense module, just in case, repaired again, rebooted, no change. Setup file sent by mail to Lukor ;)
edit: went through a full reinstall of course, as there was no other choice. Noticing there are still an awful lot of supposed blocked incoming connections in the log ??? ...there was no alert of course and there is no rule associated with these connections entries...as they just don't reflect anything real. The connections exist, sure, but they're outgoing and they're established :)
