Post by: -hans- on April 20, 2010, 08:39:16 PM
The dutch version of the latest version is corrupt and can not be installed, please put a correct version on your server.

Errormessage: An error 1006 (000003EE0) has occured.
  Last performed operation was:
  opening the self-extract archive
  Try download setup file again.

I get this message on several computers, so the setup file on your server is corrupt!
Please put as soon as possible a new file on your server.

And what's the URL you're downloading it from?

The multi Language setup is not corrupt, only the dutch setup file is corrupt.

What's the exact size of the file you downloaded? Does the digital signature verify for it?

The file is 42,2 MB (44.290.496 bytes) and the signature is woensdag 14 april 2010 19:29:41
If you test the dutch setup file you can see it's corrupt.

That's a timestamp. By signature, a digital certificate is meant. Right click on the file, choose Properties and see there.

Strange, the digital signature from the dutch setup file is not valid.
I downloaded the file several times and all the digital signatures are not valid.
The signature from the multilangual setup is valid.

Well, I'd clean the browser cache, restart the browser and redownload it. Or use a different browser, just need to make sure you get a fresh copy and not the corrupt download from cache.

Nothing to do with browser cache, the dutch setup file on the Avast server is corrupt and the digital signature is NOT VALID!!
I downloaded the dutch setup on two other computers with the same result.
The multilangual setup file is NOT CORRUPT and the digital signature is VALID.

Well, downloaded just now and - the signature is valid. You have a caching proxy in your place? Or your ISP?

While pretty surprising, the file seemed really to be corrupted.
I believe it was just fixed.
