Title: p2p shield
Post by: ThxAvast on July 13, 2004, 03:47:28 PM

Hi here  ;)

I'm curently an happy user of avast home edition.
I have a question anyway, In the p2p shield I didn't see any possibility to protect emule and other edK client...

Did I missed something or it is planned in the future version?

Thx in advance

 :)

P2P programs supported include Kazaa, KazaaLite, DirectConnect, DirectConnect++, WinMX, LimeWire, BearShare and BitTorrent (some of these are only supported under Windows NT/2000/XP/2003).

support for emule will be added in avast! 4.5. That version should be available during September. edK? Does it mean eDonkey? Yes, also eDonkey will be guarded in avast! 4.5 ;-)
