I did a thorough scan of my computer, Avast picked up on a virus, Win32Startpage-006(Trj), in c:\windows\system\mfplay.dll, but it says it cannot access the file because it is being used by another process. What do I do now? just delete it. Thanks Paul

hi,
try moving or deleting it in SafeMode (F8-Boot)
also read "VirusRemoval" below on how to secure your system better, and here:

Avast finally removed virus today!! I've been trying for a few days to get rid of it. To be honest, I kind of deserved it, I was trying another vendors anti-virus. I WON'T MAKE THAT MISTAKE AGAIN!!! (DUH). Regards, and thanks for the advice.
