Title: VRDB-gathering ball missing/can't find

Hi, just installed the home version, and set off the VRDB generator for a while. After a reboot, can't find hide nor hair of the VRDB generator. Worried as main console is saying that VRDB not done yet ... computer's vulnerable until this is set up? How do I find the generator ball?!  Thanks, Cat

No,your PC is not actually vulnerable. Malware can still be detected,but you can't repair infection (they are pretty rare in these days since worms are favorite malware right now).

Rightclick on blue "a" ball and select VRDB and then Split to two icons.
This should do the trick i guess.

Hi, thanks for reply. Glad to know machine's not vulnerable. There's no VRDB link on the taskbar icon; can't split. Had looked everywhere, in every link and folder. Why wouldn't the link be showing? Cat

Needed to let XP do the diskcheck at start .... now the generator ball's back along with the link to merge/split.
