I am looking for some info about

Win32:StartPage-036 [Trj]
What is it and what does it do
Avast found it on my computer
It was deleted successfully

That kind of Malware are Browser Hijacker. You can find some general infos of CWS Hijacker here:

it probably changes/hijacks your browser-startpage;
