Well, I've installed avast 4 linux, set up a cron job for a daily virus database update, ran a few scans, and I like it!

OTOH as said multiple times, it's primarily a server-side product. I.e. its full strength shows when you e.g. use avastrelay to filter SendMail/PostFix/QMail email...
