Why Avast! detect the viruses with different name from the other common antivirus? (NAV, KAV....)

Well, what I know there isn't an internation standard for viruses names  ;D
They're joined into groups and families, named by some hacker or antivirus company, etc. This can vary a little from one company to another, specially with the variants and polimorphic virus.
Of course, an expert opinion is needed here. Maybe someone from Alwil or our expert users (whocares, raman...).

There is an international "dictionary" for viruses... in some case is a little problem to find the exact name of virii.
