Hello my windows xp computer that i have that is a desktop computer it wont update its virus definitions it is saying "Your Virus Definitions are out of date! Latest virus definitions: 100706-1 "
i have tried updating it and it won't update
-
Did you try what I suggested in the other post - Check your system date, day/month/year and adjust as required.
Since you have the latest update that is the most common cause incorrect system date.
-
i have tried updating it and it won't update
Because it's already up to date...!
Try a manual update, it could solve it.

The fix is rebooting the system and w8 for next update.

I never had that problem, and the same thing for most of the users. normally a bug of this type(if it was a bug) will act in most of the systems.
-
That problem was not with version 5.0.594.

My misunderstanding. However a simple reboot or restart will resolve this problem in the meantime.
