Title: Avast 5 has suddenly stopped me receiving my emails!

Hi

This morning I have been unable to access my Virgin.net email accounts, but my other accounts are OK. I suspended Avast 5, and found all my email accounts were accessable, but then when I unsuspended it, I could not access my Virgin.net accounts again!
I'm using Windows XP SP3 and Outlook Express.

Any ideas? Obviously, I don't want to get my emails without a virus scan working.

Thank you for that. I will try the information from the link and let you know if it solves the situation.

Any idea why it all worked fine yesterday and for the previous few years, but not today? I've changed nothing.

Edit:
Haha! I've just opened Outlook Express to follow the guidelines, and it has just got my emails!! I did nothing. Crazy!!
