How do you schedule a scan to run on certain times, days, etc.
-
Just use the taskmanager :D
-
are you using the home or pro edition...scheduled scans only available in the pro version
-
As Artras suggested, you can use taskmanager. I am guessing you are using the Home version.
I do not remember the exact set-up, but, if you use the Search button (at the top of each page) and search for ... schedule scans ... you should find some posts about doing this.
I hope this helps you. :)

shgoh is fully right... this is a Pro version feature.
On Home version, use task manager to schedule: ashQuick.exe file from avast folder. You cannot use parameters :-\
In Pro version you can have both Windows and Command-line possibilities (ashCmd.exe) 8)

I have the home edition of avast and windows xp pro
