Title: cancelling annoying female voice on avast antivirus

does anyone know how to cancel the annoying female voice on the free avast antivirus program?   The old one didn't "talk".   the new one tells you everything that it's doing.   I've hit "silent/gaming mode"  a gazillion times, and it only stops it for a little while.   thank you.

Hi, open up the avast user interface, click settings, and on the left-hand side, click sounds. Then you can uncheck all of the options there for no sounds.
