Title: Problems with Outlook/Exchange subsystem

I can not get the Avast Outlook/Exchange subsystem to understand/note that Outlook is running on my PC. I have tried reinstalling both Avast and Outlook but it still "waits for subsystem to start".

Checking in Outlook I can see that the avast4 module is installed and loaded. What could be the problem and any suggestions anyone on how to fix this?

PC runs Windows XP Pro and Outlook is version 2003. Avast 4 Home is updated to latest version and signatures
