Title: is win32:SdBot-542[Trj] crashing my system?
Post by: jo-ann on July 29, 2004, 01:32:28 PM
 hello people on the net,

avast found in my system volume information and in system32/wuam.exe the virus win32: SdBot-542.  wuam.exe i have put in the chest and when it was found in my 'system volume information' i guess i removed the virus with success. i don't know anything about this virus, did not find any info on it,  but right now explorer 6 (xp updates installed)  is crashing all the time, it  opens when i start the computer and many applications are crashing too. ctrl-alt-del doesn't work then anymore and cannot close windows xp anymore properly. would this be caused by my infection?

thanks for giving me an idea!
