Title: 4.8 Avast couldn't update ...

Same problem as other users. Getting red warning pop-up that avast couldn't update.

I then tried to manually update and it stated that it was up to date.

Since then I've followed the advice given to other users to do a repair.

Did that and got the following ... "There was an error while changing the product configuration"

So, does that mean the error has been fixed???

There are other reports on this on forums. Maybe just update to the latest 100811-2 virus definitions.
