I just switched from using AVG for years.
I have the Avast 5.0 Internet Security program.
I also use an ancient newsreader called X-news because it is good for text newsgroups such as politics.
Since installing Avast when I try to connect with the newsreader I get an error popup that says:
481 SSL access not allowed.
Worked perfectly before the change.
How can I fix this?
My newsreader connects to Giganews provider.
Everything worked fine before the change to Avast.
