current version: 1.9.2010 - 100901-1
Number of definitions: 2,965,650
Updates today
current version: 10.9.2010 - 100910-0
Number of definitions: 2,294,692

Please answer, why reduced the number of definitions :(

the wording below is one thing, and if you didn't read the blog post it makes you wonder about the number regression, that's all ::)

Post by: RejZoR on September 10, 2010, 05:30:28 PM: Maybe it would be a good idea for avast! guys to add additional note that if definitions count decreases at any time, this only means they are optimizing definitions and not removing them. Just to avoid all the unnecessary questions from users.
