Title: How to move the file in the sandbox out of it?

Is there any way in which I can move the files that are already in the sandbox out of it? For example, the files downloaded by firefox. I know I can do it by selecting 'Automatically detect default location for saved/downloaded files and save files to these locations outside sanbox' in advance in 'expert settings' for process virtualzation, so can I move the files out of it if I failed to select it before downloading? Such as moving them from the directory for avast!'s sandbox manually or whatever.

How do you have sandbox configured?

Since if you use checked "Automatically detect..." checkbox, all browser's downloads should be automatically recognized and excluded from sandbox (regardless of using SaveAs dialog). Your default download location set in browser is excluded from the virtualization. If the checkbox is unchecked, there's currently no official way how to copy the downloaded file outside sandbox (in this case, you must download snxConfig.exe tool and turn sandbox storage folder hiding off: http://public.avast.com/~kurtin/snxConfig.exe).

OK, I think you answered my question. Neither can I download the config though.... ::)
Also, we can let Windows show hidden folders without the config tool.

No problem here with downloading the tool :)

Btw I already had a previous version, but I see this one is ready for Avast 5.1 :

- Desktop isolation
- Enable keyboard encryption (aswKbd.sys)

I want a 5.1 beta. NOW ;D

Yes, I know Avast 5.1 is not ready for a BETA yet. But I wanted to tickle Petr a little ;D

also I don't actually care how old the Forum's / Site's Topics are... and I don't want to start any new topics ;)

I just wanted to Un-Hide $target folder.

BTW -
I was able to find and DL the "avast! Sandbox Config - version 1.7" (from some user's GDrive) after just a *few hours* of browsing, but it shows me this message:
"DeviceIoControl/GetConfig failed, bad version? (0x00000057, bRet: 0)" - ...so... time wasted in vain...


_Nevermind anymore, cuz I deleted the "snxConfig" tool and forgot about it..._
