Post by: leonsoulant on September 22, 2010, 10:46:35 PM
My OS is Windows 7 and I run AVAST 5 free (all shields on) and Windows Defender in real time (all options on).Everything looks terrific and secure, but should I keep going so? :)

Yes.

Keep Windows Defender updated through its portal:
Latest definition version: 1.91.362.0
http://www.microsoft.com/security/portal/Definitions/ADL.aspx

Download then instal updates per instructions:
Install the latest Windows Defender definition updates

Maybe you need a firewall, a secure(d) browser and a second-opinion with MBAM scanning :)
