Title: AV-Comparatives: Whole Product Dynamic Test (Ongoing 2010)

Not sure if this would be the correct forum or it should go in the "General Forum"

Although loosely related to avast, it should probably go in the General forum as it is really about AV Comparatives.

I'd say that the forum section is OK.

Regarding the results, not ideal but 95% isn't too bad either (for a test of this type). Obviously, our primary goal is to improve these numbers moving forward.

Thanks

I'm expecting improved results once Behavior Shield improves beyond exploits and rootkits only. And maybe some more behavior heuristics used in file scanner.

I was greatly surprised about the BitDefender results, especially considering that they generally performed well and that they also utilize behavioral analysis.

I'm sad because of this not too good result. avast! is the 4th worst.
By the way, will the v5.1 have behavior shield for x64 systems?

Just as a side note, avast! really shined in the AV-Comparatives on-demand test for August. Also, scanning speed was on top of the list.
