Title: Win32:Hupigon-ONX [Trj] = False Positive
Post by: Joe Chicago on October 02, 2010, 07:08:37 AM
I did some searching and there were a few comments about Win32:Hupigon-ONX [Trj] being a FP but the last message in that post was well over a month ago and didn't mention when an Avast fix might be released. I just ran a scan on my system and a file was detected as infected, however, Avast could not have scanned the contents of the file as it is a 10 GB password protected 256 bit Twofish encrypted file (volume when mounted with password) which was not mounted at the time of the scan. Needless to say, I'm really sure the file is safe, but I wanted to point out there is still a FP issue with Hupigon.

Major threats have the highest priority and are added to the vps as soon as possible. Mostly within 1-2 hours after they are reported.
All others will be added a bit later.
