Title: unable to clear firewall log
Post by: xqrzd on October 10, 2010, 08:10:46 PM
No matter how many times I try to clear the firewall log, it doesn't remove the last few lines. avast blocks about 5-10 connections every second, so within a few minutes or so the log becomes impossible to sort through. Repairing avast does not help, but reinstalling it does. avast blocks so many things that sometimes when I click the clear button it actually adds more items to the list then it removes. Is there a way to turn off the firewall logging? Also where is the firewall log stored so I can clear it myself? Thanks!
Edit: here is a screenshot, there seems to be an invisible line?

you're probably on "public mode" >>> these blocked connections are all identical and they're multicast connections.
