We are all awaiting avast! V5.1 due out soon.

2011 is a long year and maybe V6 will be available by its year end.  8)

No. Version 6 will born on 2011.
You can buy a license for version 5 and get (freely) the upgrade to version 6 in the future during your license period.

I'm satisfied - But Avast! needs a better protection on Zero-Day/hour threats. Something like, implent a Behavior Guard or something? ;)

Well 5.1 will see more improvements on behaviour shield with more filters included.

I haven't the slightest idea, they are effectively rules as to what might be considered suspicious.

Yeah. We're always looking for that. The detection of new things goes well sometimes, goes slowly others...

HI I just wanted to let you all now that the first Beta version of avast free, avast pro, avast security has been released on the avast web forum go under avast free pro and you will find the Beta version released for avast 5. 1 Beta version.
