Title: Webshield and Browsers
Post by: clubhouse on November 12, 2010, 02:59:32 PM
On which browsers, aside from (I'm guessing here) firefox and IE does the webshield work? I use K-Meleon and it is of no use on that browser.

I have Avast! Pro .667

You can set the K-Meleon browser to use the web shield proxy, I don't know where the settings are (I don't use that browser).

However, in other browsers (firefox example), it is in Tools, Options, Advanced, Network, Connection settings, Configure proxies. There you should set it to Manual proxy configuration: the HTTP proxy: set to localhost and the Port: set to 12080.
