Very Christmas like outside, we have had just over 8 inches of snow this morning (in about 3-4 hours) and it is still chucking it down.

Yes, treacherous is right and probably snowed in as it will take some shifting as in the meantime about another 3-4 inches have fallen since my last post. I had been out clearing a pathway at my back door and it is like I never started, except for the mound of snow I cleared earlier.
The picture is a bit poor as it was really heavy snow when taking it and I took it on a low resolution to upload. It was taken from my back bedroom window overlooking the pond (not mine) which has been iced over for almost a month straight.

Just got back in after an hour snow clearing to be able to get my car out if necessary, cleared a three foot snow drift from around and on top of my car (parked in a corner) and enough of my driveway (just over a foot deep) to get up a bit of speed.
The bookies have reduced the odds of a White Christmas massively, odds on for a White Christmas now.
