Title: Problems with Outlook 2010
Post by: eduardo.ortega on December 13, 2010, 02:59:20 PM: Hi. After installing Avast FREE 5.0.677 Outlook 2010 stopped sending and receiving messagens. What should I do? All running over Win 7, Office 2010.

SecurityAdvisor, if that's your first choice of option's and you have nothing meaningful to offer you would be better to not bother posting.

Avast has got 2 add-ins that run inside Outlook.
1st is called "Avast 5" inside Outlook, on disk it is ashOutXt.dll - under Outlook 2007 it can be found in Tools > Trust centre > Add-ins. Select "Exchange Client Extensions", click "Go".
2nd is called "Avast! Antuspam" inside Outlook, on disk it is asOutExt.dll - under Outlook 2007 it can be found in Tools > Trust centre > Add-ins. Select "COM Add-ins", click "Go".
