Title: MS Outlook Plug In from Avast - how to uninstall
Post by: jara on December 13, 2010, 07:12:43 PM
I do not use Outlook mail at all, but when I want to send a Word or PDF attachment lately, an orange prompt  box pops up with the Avast icon in it - showing MS mail ...   - is this something new from Avast - I want to get rid of it as I use Firefox and Thunderbird Mail...this is recent within the last few weeks. ..Many thanks.

I was having similar problems with the plug in popping up. After doing much research with no results I finally noticed that the box selecing Outlook as my default mail server was unchecked. I just rechecked it and this fixed the problem. So simple but what a time consuming hassle to finally getting there. Hope this helps those of you having same issues.
