Hi,
I have a license for Internet security suite (on Win XP sp3).
I discover recently that only screensavers of XP can operate normally.
All those I installed become inactive as soon as I close the window to select them (right clic on desktop - properties -
screensaver).
They remain active only if I make them "parent" of Avast, which leads me to believe (after several trials) that the screensaver of Avast is responsible for the situation.
Can you confirm and if there is a solution.
Thanks in advance. ???

Which file avast was scanning when you have troubles with the screensaver?

Hi,
When I choose the screensaver of Avast and make one of my personal screensaver parent of it, it works fine (the two screensavers simultaneously).
It does not work when I choose only one of my personal screensaver.
Sorry if my english is not perfect.
Thanks.

It does not work when I choose only one of my personal screensaver.
Which is this screensaver name? Do you know its webpage to post the link to it?

Sorry for the delay...
I would first like to clarify that all worked perfectly before, and this for quite some time.
The ones who does not work unless parent with Avast :
- nfs Fire Place (http://www.newfreescreensavers.com/) : error message
- Nord-tec snow Flakes (no link)
- Clock screensaver of Elvis (no link) : causes error and Windows loses theme and icons
- Screenclean (http://www.clubic.com/telecharger-fiche210024-screen-clean-screensaver.html) : crashes on the window "Display Properties"
The ones that did not work yesterday, but well today (???)
- Coral Reef 3D (Give Away of the Day)
- Halloween Adventure (GAOTD)
The ones I don't have tried yesterday, but they work today :
- Autumn Wonderland 3D (GAOTD)
- Serene Screen Marine Aquarium
