Title: sp2 and avast

i just installed the ms sp2 and now after boot up the "windows security alert" notifies me that avast is turned off. i can't seem to get it activated again. any help?? thanks.. ???

Try rebooting once more.
Are you using the latest version of avast? [4.1.418]

yes, i have the latest version.. reboot did not solve..thanks..

...and isn't avast really turned off? That is, is the on-access scanner running? Isn't the avast tray icon crossed out?
