I'd running windows 7 with COMODO firewall, when i try to update the software and virus definitions nothing happens, it just stays on the Initializing, Please Wait... and nothing happens, i have waited about 5 hours and finally gave up, I've let it through the firewall but still nothing, can anyone help?

Does it work if you remove/uninstall the firewall ?

When i disable the firewall it works fine, i have allowed it, I've treble checked, but it still doesnt work when the firewall is active.

I know that this is not an avast! problem.

I just get an error saying its incompatible with avast! and to add it to the avast! exclusions, but i cant install until I've done it :-\ but i cant do it until I've added it to the exclusions:-\
