Title: BSOD from aswSnx.sys
Post by: xqrzd on January 26, 2011, 05:59:14 AM
I just got a BSOD from aswSnx.sys. I uploaded the minidump to ftp server, it should be named 012511-14118-01.dmp. Thanks!

Could you give us a brief description of what the problem was, your OS, and when you got the BSOD?  Also, what version and product of Avast are you using?  Thank you.

The Avast Team will either email or respond to you in this thread regarding your dump file after the analysis.

I got the BSOD when I started the Windows XP Virtual Machine (I have the VM sandboxed  ;D). I'm using Windows 7 Professional 64-bit. My processor is Intel i7 M 620.

Is this being looked at? I'm using latest version of avast, 5.1.889.

I have the VM sandboxed  ;D

You are awesome :D. I surely don't know whether avast sandbox can support VMs.

Even if avast! sandbox doesn't support VM, it shouldn't cause BSOD anyway.

It generally works well, I've used MS's XP VM many times sandboxed, and only 1 bsod.

I am going to try this thing if I can, some day, get the pro version. Currently I am using the free version.

I uploaded it to the ftp server, it should be named MEMORY_xqrzd.rar.
